I’m Emma, I’m 18 and I’m from a small town called Ipswich in the UK. It’s A Reader’s Life began in August 2016 after I discovered a whole load of different bookish blogs and bookstagram accounts and I wanted to join in on the fun.
It may come as no surprise that I am a huge book fan. My love for reading began at a young age when I discovered the likes of Jacqueline Wilson and Cathy Cassidy and my love for reading grew from there. These days I am a YA fan and some of my favourite authors include Jennifer Niven, Sarah Dessen (AKA the Queen of YA) and Jennifer E. Niven.
I have also been writing for a number of years. When I was younger I took inspiration from my favourite authors and began my own novels. Looking back at them now, they’re not master pieces but I hope to continue my writing so I can one day call myself an author.
I am currently in full time education doing my A Levels and when I finish I’m planning on studying English Literature and Creative Writing at University. My other hobbies include zumba, going to the cinema (keep an eye out for a few movie reviews) and taking pictures for my bookstagram account.
