Festive Christmas Book Tag

Hello bookworms and welcome back to It’s A Reader’s Life. How’re we all doing? Christmas is fast approaching so I thought I would get into the spirit by doing a Christmas Book Tag. This tag was created on BookTube by GirlReading. Make sure to check her out! Lets get started…

A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with?

Of course the Weasleys were my first thought when I saw this! As somebody who is from a large family, I love spending Christmas with all of my relatives and I can imagine the Weasleys get up to all sorts of fun!

A bookish item you would like to receive as a gift?

I have never had a Bookish Candle, but I love to light all my candles in my room and turn on the fairy lights to make it cosy, especially in Winter.

A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf?

Need I say more?

Match a book to it’s perfect christmas song.

Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares is all about finding love at Christmas, so I thought this song would be perfect! I could totally imagining the two characters singing along to this Christmas tune!

Bah Humbug. A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in and should be put on the naughty list?

This book was a huge disappointment for me. I know a lot of people loved it, but I really did not enjoy it.

A book or a fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation and deserve to be put on the nice list?

Lies Like Love is one of my favourite novels and I cannot believe more people aren’t talking about it. If I could recommend any novel, it would be this.

Red, Gold and Green. A book cover that has a wonderfully Christmasy feel to it.

I have already included it on this list once, but Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares has such a Christmassy feel. I’d love to visit New York in the festive period!

A book or series you love so much, you want everyone to find under their Christmas tree this year so they can read it and love it too?

Eleanor and Park is my all time favourite book and I want everybody to fall in love with it too!

This was such a fun tag to it! Let me know in the comments what you would have chosen as some of the answers. Until next time, happy reading (and Christmas!).
