Hello everybody and welcome back to another Top Ten Tuesday. Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish and the theme for this weeks is the best books you’ve read in 2017.

I’m going to find it hard to narrow it down but here are the last ten books that received a 5 star rating from me.

  1. Yoon and Niven have yet to disappoint me, and JES is one of my go-tos. You have two books by here which I have not read, and have been really wanting to read. I may have to suck it up and go to the actual library for these. I really enjoyed Someone Else’s Summer too. I read it last year (?), but I thought it was a great story of healing, and I seem to really like those. I have read several of Ahern’s adult books, but not her YA. If these two made your list, I may have to bump them up. Great list!

    1. Niven, Yoon and Smith are all amazing authors! I also think Smith is perfect for this time of year. I also need to go on a library trip to, I’ve seen so many people raving about certain books that I really want to try. I haven’t read any of Ahern’s adult books but I’m hoping to give a few a try this summer. Happy Reading!

  2. I’ve thought about reading Thirteen Reasons Why so many times over the years, but a) I don’t like really sad books and it seems pretty emotional and b) I’ve been hearing a lot of mixed things about it since the TV series came out. But it’s good to see that you really enjoyed it!!

    1. It is an extremely emotional book so I probably wouldn’t recommend it if you aren’t into that. It has had very mixed views since the show came out but I really liked it😊

  3. Every time I see that cover of If I Was Your Girl, my heart soars out of my chest and I weep with pure joy. That book was one of my top favorites from last year, and it’s been wonderful to see it on so many book lists this year as well! I desperately need to pick up THUG and The Sun is Also a Star as soon as I can, I’m just waiting for my library to have a copy available for me to grab. Stellar list this week overall! ❤
